What they need
Rabbits aren't natural eaters of root vegetables and fruit. Carrots and fruit have a high sugar content and should only be fed in small amounts as occasional treats. Rabbits need mainly hay and/or grass, some leafy greens and a small, measured amount of nuggets or muesli.
Hamsters need a good quality diet containing all essential nutrients and minerals. Commercial foods are formulated to meet all of their needs. Hamsters naturally eat a mixture of seeds/cereals/insect larvae and larger insects.
Playtime
Guinea pigs are built to move. Whether it’s running to hide in a pigloo or jumping for treats, guinea pigs need exercise and mental stimulation for health and happiness. And floor time is the perfect way to give your guinea pig just what he or she craves: a time for fun and discovery.
Exercise for chinchillas is very important for their health and well-being and they must be allowed to exercise outside of the cage environment for a minimum of 1-2 hours per night!
Healthy Animals
Generally rabbits will groom themselves, but regular brushing will help to keep their coats healthy and will prevent fur balls forming. Use a grooming brush for rabbits and brush their coat with soft, gentle strokes in the same direction that the fur grows.
Long-haired hamsters need to be gently groomed with a soft brush.preferably daily. They are most likely to accept this if you get them used to it from a young age.
